HOW WE WORK
PHASE 1:
Initial Phone Call
Megan will spend up to 20 minutes with you learning about your project and your goals. We’ll go over the service we offer and how we work. This discovery call is a great time for you to ask any questions before booking a consultation.
The Consultation
Every service that we offer begins with a consultation. After our initial discovery call, an on-site consultation is the next step in the design process. In this 2-hour intensive, on-site, working design meeting, Megan will help you create a design plan, and discuss layouts, materials, budgets, timelines, and your priorities. At this time, we’ll also explain our terms of engagement and how we communicate during the design process. Once you decide to move forward with us, we will send over our fee proposal for your approval.
2 Hours/ $400.00
Following The Consultation, our team will put together a design proposal for the next stage of your project. If you’re set with just the consultation service, you’ll be left with a written list of suggestions and resources specific to your project needs.
OUR DESIGN SERVICE OPTIONS
PHASE 2:
#1 Designer’s Private Access
Love doing the work yourself but simply need a little direction? Not every job needs a full-service designer for the project. Maybe you just want a second, expert opinion on hand. This is a great service if you have an ongoing project with which you need design direction. You’ll have access to our vast knowledge of where to source certain pieces of furniture and decor. Maybe you need a designer to come in and communicate in ‘designer-ese’ with your trades or contractor. Possibly you’d just like the extra security of having a designer by your side during your design center appointment ( so many choices and you want to know you’re doing it right ). This is a great, entry-level, service that will allow you access to designer expertise, style, and resources.
Whether you’re remodeling or just updating your home’s decor, this can save you a significant amount of money and help you avoid disastrous results. Blocks are purchased in 3-hour increments at our usual hourly rate of $200.00. After receiving your signed agreement and your payment is verified, we’ll credit your account and set up a phone call. #2 Collaborative Design
Our Collaborative Service is, a way to take advantage of working with us for a fraction of the cost of our full-service design. We consider everything; how you live, how you use your home, what features are important, how much storage you need, what your style is, what materials you would like to see, etc.
We then follow up with a personalized, digital, Design Book that includes, a detailed plan and vision board to implement stunning results; including, when necessary, a furniture plan, color palette, drawings, elevation plans, a shopping list, access to some of our trade-only resources and thorough instructions on placement, furniture plans or anything else that our expertise may require.
All buying, ordering, and receiving will be done by you and will be your sole responsibility. In the case of trade-only purchases, these will be done through us, using your preferred method of payment. The management of all orders and deliveries will be your responsibility.
The process of creating your custom Design Book can take up to 6-8 weeks based on how many clients we have before you and the extent of your design. Once a week you will receive an email updating you on the hours accrued thus far and where we are in the process. The Collaborative Design Service will be billed at our usual hourly design rate of $200, billed bi-weekly.
#3 Total Design
Our total design service is here for you when you need an entire home, kitchen, bath, or any room fully designed. It’s the whole shebang, premier service where you leave it all to us.
We’ll create a design plan for your space and provide detailed construction drawings, layout drawings, millwork designs, hardware & lighting selections, and spec sheets.
We’ll work with your architect or contractor throughout the process handling all of the meticulous details that go into a design while speaking the language of the trade.
We’ll oversee all of the exact details that go into every design and construction of your new space.
Through us, you’ll have access to trade-only furniture, textiles, and wallcovering with an extended discount.
This is our full-service design package that is imperative to any remodeling or new build you may be embarking on.
